Miami Beach Before Seven

Before seven the beach belongs to people who live here. The swimmers arrive with nothing. The runners nod without stopping. Someone stretches at the waterline every morning of the year.\n\nWe photographed one week of it from the same stretch of sand, at the same hour, without asking anyone to pose.\n\nThe result is a portrait of consistency: the same faces, slightly different light. A city that is often accused of performing, quietly repeating itself.
