Why Brickell Is Becoming a Lifestyle District
The finance towers grew a ground floor. What happened next was not planned.

For a decade Brickell was a place people worked in and left.
Then the ground floors filled — not with flagship retail but with pilates rooms, a wine shop that closes at nine, a bakery with four tables. The neighbourhood acquired a morning.
The shift is small and structural: when the people who work upstairs also sleep nearby, the district has to offer them a Saturday. Brickell is currently inventing one in public.
